A Safe Environment for LGBTQIA+ Middle & High Schoolers
Whether you are exploring coming out or looking to connect with other LGBTQIA+ youth, the Coastal Bend PRIDE Center offers young individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities a place where they are loved, acknowledged, and accepted for who they are.
The Coastal Bend Pride Youth Group (formerly YNOT), is a program that strives to support, educate, and uplift lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, intersex, and asexual youth in Middle and High School. It offers a safe environment for youth to explore topics that are relevant and meaningful to their experiences, meet new people, engage in friendship, decrease LGBTQIA+ marginalization and health disparities, and raise positive public awareness of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The LGBTQ+ Youth Community
We understand that, as you are learning to navigate adulthood as well as being a part of the community, you may need support when facing a wide range of potentially overwhelming circumstances, life changes, and emotions. Participants agree to keep confidentiality of what is shared in the meeting, be aware of good social and communication skills, and create a safe space for all participants.
Youth Prom 2023 - A Night Under the Sea
The Pride Center annually hosts LGBTQIA+ Youth prom each June in the Coastal Bend which is open to LGBTQIA+ youths and allies ages 13-18.
Exploring all aspects of LGBTQIA+ life including civil rights history, creative outlets and more.
